MITSUBISHI TRITON LITE TURBO OPEN FOR BOOKING

Kuala Lumpur, 27 March 2012 – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the importer and distributor of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) in Malaysia, officially announced the commencement of bookings of its soon to be launched new Triton LITE Turbo (2.5-litre 4×2 Manual).

An enhanced engine with turbocharger, the Triton LITE Turbo is set to answer the needs of performance, functionality and comfort.

For added performance, the engine of the Triton LITE Turbo now comes with a Turbocharger and is based on the powertrain 2.5-liter SOHC IDI Turbocharged diesel engine which produces a power of 89 PS at 4,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 196 Nm at 2,000 rpm.

The Triton LITE Turbo now comes with a stylish designed ‘sedan’ look, a fresher 15” alloy wheels, chrome 
finishing on the grip and mirrors, and LITE Turbo stickers to match its versatile design with comfort, for a multi-purpose usage.

While boasting its stylish exterior and sporty cabin, the Triton LITE Turbo comes with a new and trendy dual-tone colour on the inside. The dashboard also houses a new 1 Din Audio with AUX-in functionality.

The Triton LITE Turbo now comes in two colours – Cool Silver Metallic and White Solid. Owners get to enjoy a 3-year/100,000 km warranty as well as Mitsubishi’s 2-Years free maintenance package (*Terms & Conditions apply)

For comfort and convenience, the Triton LITE Turbo comes with a remarkably tight 5.7m turning radius that gives drivers the ability to maneuver through tight spaces with ease.

That’s not all; the Triton LITE Turbo also comes with a low cargo height of 715 mm for easy loading. With its spacious interior including legroom and headroom space, users need not worry because whether hard at work or getting away for a weekend escapade, users will have the space to pack everything they need.

The Triton LITE Turbo comprehensive standard equipment list includes keyless entry, power windows, speed-sensitive front wiper, central door locking system and headlamp auto off-function.

For safety purposes, the Triton LITE Turbo comes with Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) which accurately distributes braking force. Passive safety features also includes Anti-Intrusion brake pedal, collapsible steering as well as Mitsubishi Motors’ rigid RISE body structure.
